HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO COMPLETE MY PROJECT?

Every project is completely different. Depending on the scope of work, a project can take anywhere from 2 months to 9 months typically. A small bathroom renovation could take only around 1 to 2 months, while a complete home renovation along with several additions would take between 6 and 8 months. Kitchens typically range between 2 and 4 months.

HOW MUCH DOES RENOVATING A KITCHEN COST?

When it comes to renovating a kitchen, there are a lot of factors that need to be considered. Depending on whether you update the existing layout or removing existing walls, a kitchen can cost anywhere between $75,000-$150,000 typically. Once we have an idea on your priorities, we can give you an idea on cost.

WHAT IS YOUR PROCESS?

Step 1 is to contact us to come take a look at your space. At that time we can discuss your vision and priorities, along with your budget and timeframe. Afterwards we would then come back to review and take measurements of your existing space. These measurements allow us to begin the process of creating a new design based upon your goals. ​

Once we are all happy with the new proposed design, we are then able to provide a more defined cost estimate. And once everyone is happy with design and cost, then we can get started on permits, other design work, etc.

Once we have an idea on your priorities, we can give you an idea on cost.

HOW DO I DECIDE ON A CONTRACTOR?

We strive to be upfront and honest, and because of that, we always tell people that you have to pick someone who you trust and can ensure the job will get done properly. Since your contractor will be working with you for awhile, you will want to ensure that you pick someone you can enjoy having constant communication with throughout your project. Here at Woodward Homes, your only two points of contact are us, Mike and Elizabeth. There are not multiple other people that you need to communicate between or others who will be managing your project. We are completely hands on and want to make this process seamless and enjoyable. And lastly, you want to make sure your contractor is licensed and insured.

HOW DO I PLAN AND FIGURE OUT A DESIGN FOR MY SPACE?

Not to worry! We do all that for you! We are capable of producing drawings for a small kitchen remodel, or a full home renovation with multiple additions. Once we talk about your priorities and goals, we will come up with some designs to review and discuss in person. The best designs are always collaborative, so your input is invaluable. There are always great possibilities for every space so we will talk through those to decide what is best for you and your family.

DO I NEED TO HIRE AN INTERIOR DESIGNER?

Not to worry! We can do all that for you as well! We are happy to work with an Interior Designer you may have hired, but we also include our design services for our clients that sign on for construction services.

This allows us to make the process as seamless as we can for you.
